She poured her energies into church activities as she was a devout Christian. She joined Mount Zion Methodist in its early years in Sakumono and became a founding member of the praise and worship ministry, Zion Praise.

She was known as the “Star Performer” as they evangelized in schools and low income communities through music and song. She found her work in this ministry as part of her life’s mission as she made it an integral part of her life; it was professional work, time with family and Zion Praise. Not only did she sing, but she also held many positions in the organization and later became the organization’s President.

After University Education

Ewurafua spent one year as a teacher at Gomoa Dawurampong in the Central Region of Ghana. She then joined Surf Publications as one of the operational team. After a few years with Surf Publications, she joined Standard Chartered Bank, first in the Human Resources department and later in retail banking.

After about 7 years in the bank, she left and began working at Cleanearth Scientific Limited, a company that her father had founded in the late 1990s. She started out as the Chief Operating Officer in 2009, leading the young team of administrative and sales development professionals.

“She met her husband, the late Isaac Ekow Bentum-Williams at Standard Chatered Bank. They got married in 2006 in a beautiful ceremony and lived together until he tragically passed away from a motor accident in 2017.”

She became the HR & Organizational Policy Specialist in 2017, a role that got her to recruit and develop a good number of current associates in the company.
In the same year, Ewurafua realized her dream when she established her beauty and wellness salon, Ren’Essence, in Sakumono.
