She poured her energies into church activities as she was a devout Christian. She joined Mount Zion Methodist in its early years in Sakumono and became a founding member of the praise and worship ministry, Zion Praise.
She was known as the “Star Performer” as they evangelized in schools and low income communities through music and song. She found her work in this ministry as part of her life’s mission as she made it an integral part of her life; it was professional work, time with family and Zion Praise. Not only did she sing, but she also held many positions in the organization and later became the organization’s President.
